Overcoming Punctuation Panic
Many typists can fly through standard words at 60 WPM, but the moment a dialogue quote (") or a question mark (?) appears, their speed drops to 20 WPM. This is called "Punctuation Panic". In Lesson 15, we are going to fix that.

The Secret Weapon: Your Right Pinky! Almost all major punctuation marks (Quote, Apostrophe, Semicolon, Colon, Question Mark) are located on the right side of the keyboard. Your Right Pinky is fully responsible for hitting them. Treat your pinky like a ninja!
🖐️ Punctuation Rules
- Apostrophe (') and Quotes ("): Reached by the right pinky, one key to the right of the semicolon. Use Left Shift for quotes.
- Question Mark (?): Located on the Slash (/) key. Hold Left Shift and use your right pinky to stretch down.
- Exclamation Mark (!): Located on the '1' key (Top Left). Hold Right Shift and stretch your Left Pinky up to the top corner.
📝 How to Pass This Lesson
Because punctuation forces you to use the Shift keys rapidly, the target speed has been adjusted back to 25 WPM. Maintain 95% Accuracy to pass. Do not rush the symbols; press them deliberately and precisely. Once you pass this, you are ready for Lesson 16: The Number Row!
