Alpha-Numeric Data Entry
In Lesson 16, you learned where the numbers are. But in real life, you rarely type just numbers. You type addresses, passwords, flight codes, and serial numbers. This requires jumping from the Home Row to the Number Row and back instantly.

The Yo-Yo Effect: When you reach up for a number, your finger should act like a yo-yo. It goes up, strikes the number, and immediately snaps back down to its home row position (ASDF or JKL;). Do not leave your hand hovering over the number row!

If you want to do data entry, coding, or professional administrative work, alpha-numeric typing is your most valuable skill. Looking down to find a number breaks your flow and destroys your WPM.
